Connecting People and Places

Wednesday 10 May to Thursday 11 May

Time: 09:00 to 15:45 both days

The GeoPlace Conference 2023

Registration is now open for this year’s GeoPlace annual conference, which takes place online on 10th and 11th May 2023.

The event runs over eight one-hour sessions over two days, allowing people to dip in and out into the conference. The 35 speakers over the two days will explore the need for the precise location information that sits at the heart of public services, good commerce, and governance.

Address and street data, with their associated UPRNs and USRNs are the magic ingredients that connect services to people to places. The themes for Day One are:

  • Property & housing, improving outcomes
  • Climate change, accelerating progress
  • Household energy, data insights to inform policy
  • Improving health, protecting our population

Day Two has a deeper focus into the technical side of managing the lifecycle of the UK’s address and street data.

With over 1,000 registrations to last year’s event, this event is not to be missed and is free of charge to attend. See the full agenda and speaker line up here. Read our conference announcement here.
