The Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency (DVLA) has agreed on a new deal with Made Tech as part of its IT transformation programme.
Under a two-year contract with a value of up £14 million the company will provide support for the programme’s second phase, focused on the re-architecting all IT systems onto open source, cloud hosted commodity platforms.
Made Tech first won a stake in the programme with a one-year deal in autumn 2020 and consolidated its position with a contract for design, development and application support services in 2021.
Rory MacDonald, chief executive officer of Made Tech, said: “We are proud to have been awarded this contract and to continue our work to help the DVLA. This contract win reinforces our commitment to support the public sector to rapidly deliver services that are making a positive impact in society.”
