UKA Live: The future of local government
Wednesday 20 March
Time: 11:00 - 12:00 via Teams Live
How do megatrends, data elements and key technologies impact local public services and how does this affect the future of local government?
The strain on local government finances shows no sign of abating as citizens not only have increasing expectations of digital services but also increasing needs for services.
Local authorities are at the sharp end of many challenges and the technologies and tools available to them are evolving. Civica set out to explore, in partnership with Solace, how technology and data can be harnessed to meet this changing world - to explore what the future of local government might look like in 2032 and how the sector can prepare.
We've asked some of those leading the response to this challenge, and that have participated in the research, to join us on UKA Live to outline the findings and explore the future of local government.
