Data is growing exponentially but, put simply, budgets are not. So how do we contain the costs of storing and using this data?

According to IDC, data is growing at a compound annual rate of 28%. And, of course, as cyber-security pressures rise and AI advances, this rate of growth will only accelerate.

Can we keep the data we need free and flexible for analysis, sharing and re-use across the sector? Can we avoid being locked into any one particular platform or any one cloud? How can we best manage and direct this vast pool of data, regardless of where it has come from, or where it needs to go?
