  • 20:35: GM Smart Places, enabling a Digital City Region - Jon Burt, Lead Enterprise Architect, Greater Manchester Combined Authority
    In February 2020, GMCA published the Greater Manchester Digital Blueprint, a three-year approach for meeting its ambitions as leading digital city-region, with five themes and two cross cutting enablers including the creation of a world class digital infrastructure.     Dan Clarke explores how data and technology will support Cambridgeshire in addressing some of the big challenges faced post pandemic. This includes responding to the challenge of getting the public back on public transport and the recovery of local economies (Download slides)
  • 20:01: The InnOvaTe Project - Andrew Parsons, IoT Programme Manager and Bradley Coupar, Social Worker and Smart Place Project Manager, South London Partnership
    Hear about South London Partnership’s project researching and piloting innovative ways to generate economic growth, support local businesses and help people live better, healthier lives. This includes easy to deploy, remote, unobtrusive activities of daily monitoring to provide carers with an early warning of  vulnerable residents becoming unwell, using IoT for social distancing and traffic Insights, and a real-time digital town hub engagement platform (Download slides)
  • 38:20: Virtual Bradford - Adrian Walker, T-Projects Manager, City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council and Professor Andrew Wilson, Chair in Forensic & Archaeological Sciences, University of Bradford
    An aspiration of the Metropolitan District Council and brought to fruition by the University of Bradford’s Visualising Heritage group, the free to use virtual model of Bradford provides accurate levels of detail of the built environment for various priority uses for the council, including urban/ civic planning; traffic management; support to the modelling of air quality, flood risk and noise pollution; contribute to disaster management planning; and to highlight the heritage of the city to enhance education, tourism and in fostering civic pride.
