NDL’s end-to-end transformation products and services allow customers to free up capacity behind the scenes. This means allowing staff to focus on the tasks that matter, and aiding staff and citizens as they provide or consume frontline services. A true Digital Transformation capability built upon and fully integrated with current systems, boosting the power of existing investments and services. We’ve watched with great pride as colleagues in NHS Trusts and Local Authorities have used our solutions to achieve years’ worth of digital transformation in a matter of months, responding to the extreme challenges brought on by COVID-19. We remain committed to working alongside our community of public sector customers to make both front end and back end transformation as simple, cost-efficient and accessible as possible. For Birmingham Community Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust (BCHC), co-ordinating efforts of 4,500 members of staff in over 200 hospitals, clinics and health centres to deliver over 100 community and specialist services during the COVID-19 outbreak has been vital. The Trust needed to measure the virus’ impact on its services, to allow them to mobilise and galvanise resources such as staff and PPE availability, to meet the increased demand in the most effective way possible. Because of the investment made by the Trust in 2019, BCHC’s Performance, Contracting, and Information team was able to build on those foundations to respond rapidly to recent events. They created a system to be used across the Trust that allowed the Executive and Management teams to track and visualise capacity across the organisation using NDL’s Digital Process Automation platform.
