
Public sector procurement organisation YPO has set up a new Network Connectivity and Telecommunications Solutions II framework agreement.
The contract includes seven lots and 50 companies providing services that extend to mobile, voice, data and cyber security.
According to the award notice, it came into effect in mid March, will run for three years with two options for one-year extensions, and is valued at up to £750 million.
The lots cover wide are network services, local area network services, education connectivity and associated services, smart city and internet of things technologies, cyber security solutions, communications services and mobile voice and data services.
YPO is owned by 13 local authorities and supplies products and services to councils, emergency services, schools, charities and public service businesses such as nurses and care homes.
