In terms of place based outcomes we need to move away from siloed thinking, instead ingraining and embedding sustainability in to everything that we do, says Nadira Hussain, director of leadership development and research at Socitm.
We must also use digital technologies and services to help meet the sustainability agenda, she adds. But this will require leadership if we are to deliver, for example, the required culture shift from ‘presenteeism’ to a focus on outcomes to gain full value from mobile and flexible working technologies.
