Warwick District Council has chosen Agile Applications’ Built Environment software-as-a-service platform for its planning, building control and land charges systems.

It is planning to deploy the system this year under a three-year contract valued at £276,000.

The transition to using the platform – which supports a range of relevant functions – is aimed at modernising the processes. Agile Applications said it will produce efficiencies and savings by encouraging more people to use the public portal for relevant services.

Philip Clarke, head of place, arts and economy at Warwick, said: "We are at the start of the implementation phase of this transformative project and have been impressed by the responsiveness and professionalism of the Agile Applications team throughout the procurement process.”

Agile Applications was acquired by the IEG Group last year.
