UKAuthority Smart Places set for July

31/12/21

UKAuthority is pleased to announced that its annual Smart Places conference is now scheduled to take place online over 22-24 July.

It will be the latest of our events to move to a virtual setting, providing a valuable opportunity for delegates to explore the subject while maintaining the social distancing imposed by the coronavirus pandemic.

The event will investigate the development of smart places in the UK, not just in cities but smaller communities and rural areas, looking at how organisations are utilising internet of things technology, smart devices and cutting edge data systems to sharpen their capabilities in areas such as planning, transport and environmental management.

As usual we will have a number of speakers providing their expertise and experience of smart places programmes, along with the perspectives of some leading thinkers in the field, and provide the scope for delegates’ perspectives and a lively online debate.

The event will take place over three 90-minute sessions, beginning at 11.00 am, on 22, 23 and 24 July. Taking part is free and it is accredited for five hours CPD.
