orkshire and Humber Police Procurement has set up a new multi-supplier IT procurement framework that could be worth up to £60 million over its four-year lifespan.

It involves four lots – for hardware, servers and storage, networking and security equipment and commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) software – and four suppliers: Computacenter, Insight Direct, Phoenix Software and Softcat.

The contract award notice indicates that the framework, which has a baseline value of £17.5 million, will be available for use by police forces beyond Yorkshire and Humberside and by the West Yorkshire Combined Authority.

Participating authorities will be able to create their own call-off contracts based on individual needs under the framework.
