Suffolk County Council has relaunched its Yojo App to help young people into apprenticeships.

It said the updated version – which is available from the App Store, Play Store and its own website – incorporates new features to meet the current needs of users.

The Yojo App – shortened from ‘You + Job =’ – was developed in-house and first launched in 2018. The redevelopment has taken two years. It is aimed at supporting people aged 14-25 in the county who are looking for information on career paths, apprenticeships, trainee placings, tips and advice on work.

Its features now include: a search function for apprenticeship and trainee vacancies; the ability to make applications; help on discovering career paths based on interests, including suggestions and entry level requirements; and interactive tips and interview questions to help users develop their skills.

These are added to the CV builder and range of information.
