South Lanarkshire Council has signed a five-year contract with social care software specialist Liquidlogic to roll out a new adults’, children’s and criminal justice case management system.
It will support a workforce of almost 3,000 staff providing complex care and support to adults, children and their families and carers in the South Lanarkshire area.
Following the conclusion of the competitive tendering process, the council’s director of health and social care Soumen Sengupta commented: “The integrated record will augment the professional judgement of our staff by assisting them to make connections within a case.
“We also welcome the opportunity that the Liquidlogic product will give us in terms of its ability to interface with other systems - thus enhancing a single system approach which is so important to our work with partners and our commitment to delivering quality care.”
The cloud based system includes task and workflow automation and a portal solution to support frontline practice, so practitioners will be able to connect and interact online.
