The Regulator of Social Housing (RSH) has begun work to procure a replacement for its NROSH+ data collection portal.

It has published a contract notice and pre-qualification questions as a step towards finding a supplier of a new system, with indications the deal will run for five years with a value of around £1.5 million.

Registered providers of social housing use NROSH+ to submit financial and statistical survey data to RSH. The data collected, and the portal, are critical in allowing RSH to assess risks, tailor our engagement and ensure compliance with the standards.

RSH said it aims to be in a contract with a preferred supplier by April 2022, where the system will be developed and built before a planned implementation in 2023.

Current users of NROSH+ should continue using the existing system, which is expected to remain in place until at least March 2023.
