The Robert Jones and Agnes Hunt Orthopaedic Hospital NHS Foundation Trust (RJAH) has implemented the Apollo electronic patient record (EPR) system.
It rolled out the system last week to replace others including Graphnet EPR and Lorenzo-IPM.
Supplied by System C, the EPR draws together information from all the trust’s health systems that store patient information and data.
It is made up from a suite of integrated products and will be used for all record keeping, as well as to send discharge summaries to local GPs and others outside the trust involved in a patient’s care, such as a district nurse.
System C said it is the largest investment the trust has made in a technology solution.
