Reusable building blocks for the future?

31/12/19

UKAuthority is exploring how councils can transform and modernise services today whilst putting in place the reusable building blocks for the future in a research project supported by Hitachi Solutions and Microsoft.

Whether your council has a desire to harness the latest cutting-edge technology such as AI, robotic process automation, cognitive services or predictive analysis, or simply a need to improve services based on legacy systems, then your opinions are welcome at our research round table next month in Birmingham.

Andrew Boxall, head of technology at Shropshire Council, will outline the steps his council has made in building a platform for service modernisation based on Microsoft Dynamics 365, the challenges they faced in moving forward and how they are maintaining an open dialogue with other councils in order to share knowledge, best practice and in-house developments.

With vast differences in budget, resources and the citizens they serve, local authorities can be in very different positions on their transformational journeys. But what are the common factors in building the business case for a technology platform for the future? Equally, what are the common barriers to change?

This discussion and experience sharing event is for senior decision makers and thought leaders in IT, Digital, Customer Services, Transformation, Human Resources and Finance and related roles.

Join us on the 20 September in Birmingham to discuss the building blocks for modernising public services into the future, supported by real world examples from Hitachi Solutions and Microsoft in action: Register Here
