Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council has chosen Civica’s latest Cx Licensing software to manage its licensing applications.
It will employ intelligent automation in a cloud based system to deal with the increased demand for the process in the borough, with the council handling approximately 2,000 licensing applications per year.
Stephen Brown, the council’s licensing manager, said: “Consistency for our customers is key. The software’s intelligent automation will mean we can provide a much improved service to customers, alongside streamlining our internal processes and offering a more mobile, flexible working environment.”
The software is part of Civica’s Cx Regulatory Services platform and automatically updates all actions within the system.
The company said it will increase the workflow and help the council mobilise its workforce, streamline licensing management with more automated and consistent decision making and improve reporting. It should also support the mobile workforce.
