HM Passport Office has taken up a contract worth up to £21 million with digital solutions provider and consultancy Atos for IT services.
It called off the contract from the Crown Commercial Service Technology Services 2 framework, with an initial period of two years up to March 2023 with options for three 12-month extensions.
The contract notice says the award – labelled as Digital Future Services – will cover the support of applications and services with the business intelligence, infrastructure and intelligence (BI3) product family.
The money will be spend on short, specific work packages for support, maintenance and development.
The Passport Office has been running a digital transformation programme which over the past year has involved it signing Sopra Steria to digitise passport applications.
