The UK Parliament is planning to run a cyber capability change programme beginning early next year.
It is currently sounding out the market for consultancy services covering technical analysis, systems and technical consultancy and business and management consultancy.
This is expected to establish whether a consultancy can provide the appropriate support, shape the procurement process and enable Parliament’s management to more precisely define its requirements.
The market notice says it wants to look at issues such the behavioural and cultural change needed to maintain its cyber capability, the target operating model and validation, and a workforce management strategy.
Parliament has been identified as a high profile target for cyber attackers and has previously run campaigns to encourage good cyber security awareness and behaviour among its staff. These have covered issues such as the dangers of phishing and good password practice.
