Nottingham City Council has begun to use the Connect and Mobilise workforce management solutions from Totalmobile to support its housing services.

It has made the move after having used the company’s Protect lone worker solution for three years.

Totalmobile said the new systems will enable Nottingham to manage scheduling, tenant communication and voids management, with the promise of reducing travel times for its workers, optimising resource allocation and providing real time updates to tenants.

The solution also includes capabilities for automated workflows and video diagnostics.

Jon Peel, the council’s business transformation manager, said: “We’re addressing operational challenges and improving tenant communication by adopting innovative technologies. This is a vital step forward in providing faster, more effective solutions for residents across Nottingham.”
