Norwich City Services Ltd (NCSL) has agreed on a partnership with field services management software provider Totalmobile.

The organisation – owned by Norwich City Council and responsible for its housing repairs and voids – is to use the company’s Connect, Mobilise and Protect solutions in support of its repairs and maintenance operations.

More than 170 staff are set to use the technology in NCSL’s real time management of field works, with the aim of allocating tasks efficiently and ensuring coordination between teams.

In addition, the Protect solution will provide an extra layer of security for workers in the field.

Paul Young, operations director at NCSL, said: “We’re excited to bring this technology to Norwich, where it will help us better manage our housing repairs and maintenance services, ensuring we provide the highest level of service to our community.”
