Northern Ireland’s Department of Finance (DoF) has signed consultancy EY as its business transformation partner.
They have agreed on a six-year contract, with the option to extend one more, with a value estimated at £7.8 million to £10 million.
It will provide a foundation of the Central Government Transformation Programme for the Northern Ireland Executive, aimed modernising the finance, HR and payroll services.
According to the contract notice EY will work with the transformation team to define the target operations model, including business outcomes, process definitions, organisation and service design and change management. It will also support the enablement of the main technology solution when it has been selected.
The DoF has indicated that there could be changes on requirements as the programme unfolds.
