NHS Humber and North Yorkshire Integrated Care Board has signed technology company N3i to support the digital transformation of its primary care services.
They have agreed on a contract, set to come into force in April 2025 and run for five years, for the firm to provide relevant support services with a total value of up between £22.7 million and £31.7 million.
The contract award notice indicates that the company is expected to provide a resilient service model that is sustainable, innovative and flexible.
Among the priorities are to exploit technology and systems as part of the NHS transformation agenda, taking into account local requirements.
Others are to provide 24/7 service support, ensuring this is proactive and avoiding the destablising of any clinical services, ensuring systems and infrastructure are secure and proposing strategies for service improvement.
N3i has already been working with Humber and North Yorkshire ICB, with past projects including the implementation of a digital booking system and an emergency preparedness, resilience and response SharePoint site.
