A procurement framework worth up to £5 billion is being set up for digital document solutions in the NHS.
The NHS London Procurement Partnership, hosted by Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust, has published a contract award notice that takes in 46 suppliers over a so far unspecified period.
It says the agreement covers hardware and software, with services including internal and external print, digital mail rooms, scanning, document storage, electronic document record management solutions, digital dictation and workflow processes.
Among the larger companies on the framework are Kyocera, Canon, Ricoh, Civica, Konica Minolta, HP, Iron Mountain and Xerox.
The NHS London Procurement Partnership is one of four national procurement hubs, owned by members that include acute, community and mental health, along with primary care and clinical commissioning.
