The Ministry of Justice (MoJ) has signed a two-year, £15.5 million contract with consultancy Deloitte as delivery partner for its Evolve programme.
According to the contract notice it will play a key role in defining and implementing the technology strategy and operating model for the ministry.
The contract comes under the classification of hardware consultancy services, and will run across a range of projects including building internal capability, insourcing key services and supporting multiple contract invitations to tender.
Deliverables include the development of business cases, solution and service design and solution readiness.
Existing deals
The MoJ’s existing contracts for Evolve portfolio services are Atos for end user computing, and Vodafone for network services.
In October of last year the ministry ran a briefing with IT industry association techUK on plans for the Evolve programme. It outlined three main elements on network services, voice and video and end user computing services.
This is the latest significant deal for Deloitte with central government, the company having recently won contract with the Government Digital Service to support work on the digital identity programme and the Home Office to help strengthen its digital, data and technology capability.
