Darren Knight, executive director of people and change at Cheltenham Borough Council, outlines how it built then implemented its business case for a low code platform
Return on investment (RoI) was a priority for the council which had planned a three year pay back on the product. Within the first six months it had replaced a legacy system, producing a saving of £40,000 a year and was on track to make further improvements by the end of the year.
As well as immediate cash savings, Knight explains other benefits including instant customer improvement and giving them the confidence and momentum to do more for themselves.
