Liverpool City Council has begun to work with Jadu as its partner for the implementation of a new case management system.

It is using the low code Jadu Digital Platform under a five-year, £2.7 million contract that came into force in October of last year.

The company said this will involve the use of its Digital Layer strategic framework for the integration of front and back office systems. This will include integration with systems such as Brightly Confirm for highways services and NEC for revenues and benefits, and the use of tools such as Microsoft Power Platform and generative AI, along with enhanced self-service capabilities.

It will also support the council in its preparations to make more use of AI solutions.

Jadu also forecast that the system will provide around £1.8 million per year recurring in cost savings and obtain operational efficiencies.

The implementation will be part of Liverpool’s Customer Experience Improvement Plan.

Efficiency and easy contact

Cllr Ruth Bennett, deputy council leader and cabinet member for transformation, said: “As part of our improvement journey, we are committed to delivering lower cost, value-for-money services, which are efficient and good quality.

"We know from feedback from our residents that they just want an easy way to contact the council, and to be kept up to date on where their request is up to.

“This is part of our drive to put residents at the heart of our digital and self-service journey, creating seamless services that are not only efficient, but also truly accessible to everyone in our community."
