Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue Service has awarded NEC Software Solutions a seven-year contract to manage its command, control and integrated communication system.

The company said it will provide its integrated Vision and DS3000 Control Room solution, which includes increased user functionality and an improved user interface.

The cloud based system will enable improved collaboration with other fire services that adopt the same technology.

It is scheduled to be fully rolled out by March 2025.

Mark Baxter, chief fire officer at Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue, said: “This is a significant moment on the journey to implement the next generation control solution. The collaboration and hard work of everyone in our teams has helped us get to this pivotal point.
