HM Land Registry has signed two contracts for capability partners to support its digital transformation.
It has agreed on a £3.2 million deal with FutureGov as a user centred design, research and capability partner, and £1.6 million contract with Notbinary covering product management.
Both companies are part of The Panoply group, and both contracts are expected to run for 24 months.
The FutureGov agreement is aimed at improving Land Registry’s user centred design capability by giving its internal teams the chance to work alongside more experienced people in similar roles.
Its Digital Marketplace notice states that it needs a partner to play an active role in its design and user research communities of practice, passing on skills and experience through processes such as peer reviews.
Supporting agile teams
The Notbinary deal is aimed at supporting the agency’s digital product management, notably in its 22 agile teams that different levels of resource and experience. The company highlights its expertise in common platforms, open source and cloud based technologies.
The original contract notice highlights plans to deliver a new CRM and legacy casework systems.
Neil Gandhi, chief executive officer of The Panoply, said: “In this case, HM Land Registry know that they have world class experts in user centred design as well as product management yet in a single group that has proven its ability to work to bring those two work streams together as required to deliver an end to end service.”
