HM Land Registry Digital Data & Technology (DDaT) portfolio has awarded a two-year consulting contract to Scott Logic as the government agency looks to adopt DevOps methods as part of a digital transformation.
Under the terms of the agreement, the consultancy will provide HM Land Registry with software consulting to streamline processes, improving the user experience and the effectiveness of the processes. “HM Land Registry wants to accelerate its digital transformation,” said Alistair Hayter, Head of Software Development, HM Land Registry, in a statement.
The £9 million contract includes architecture, development of front and back-end development capabilities, DevOps and testing, as well as planning the future of service delivery at HM Land Registry. An initial focus will be on agile delivery and automation of internal and external technology.
HM Land Registry is responsible for 26 million land titles, with a value of over £7 trillion. The agency ensures that land and property rights are guaranteed and protected.
