Inverclyde Council has selected a field service management tool to help its 550 social care workers.
The Health and Social Care Partnership of Inverclyde in south-west Scotland has awarded the contract to Totalmobile.
Management of scheduling service for 550 social care workers in Inverclyde will be carried out by Totalmobile following successful selection during a tender process.
“We anticipate the new service will allow social care staff, who are delivering vital services across the community, to work more efficiently and have less time sitting at their desk manually inputting data,” said Cllr Robert Moran, chair of the Inverclyde Integrated Joint Board.
The Health and Social Care Partnership of Inverclyde hopes that the workforce management tool will help social workers deal with changes to the day, such as a colleague being ill, onboarding new staff more easily, and improving the efficiency of the team.
