HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) has agreed on a contract with technology consultancy Equal Experts for platform services and support.
The award notice values the two-year deal – with an option for a one-year extension – at up to £35 million.
The contract provides no details of the services to be provided but an earlier award from 2020 specified support for the design and build of services as part of the HMRC data analytics estate. Services can extend to other government departments using the data.
The new deal follows earlier agreements with Equal Experts to maintain its role in supporting the Multi-Tax Digital Platform and elements of HMRC’s Data Provisioning Service.
