The Greater Manchester Combined Authority (GMCA) has agreed a single supplier framework deal with software company MHR for HR and payroll services.
The contract is set to run for four years with a value of up to £31 million, with access for GMCA’s partner organisations.
It will enable users to call off procurements on services including software maintenance and support and reducing the need for manual transactions in dealing with multiple services, posts and payrolls.
GMCA says in contract notice that the deal “is at the forefront of our digital transformation that will be able to offer both on premise and cloud based services”.
It adds that the projected value has increased from the original estimate following a market engagement process.
MHR, previously known as MidlandHR, has a strong stake in the local government market, notably with its iTrent HR and payroll platform. It claims customers including the local authorities for Devon, Warkwickshire, Leicester and Watford.
