Elmbridge Borough Council has deployed GOV.UK Notify to deliver personalised SMS text messages to council tax customers reminding them that a payment is due. The project has delivered over £30,000 in back-office efficiency savings in the first year of operation and a template for extending personalised SMS message reminders to other council services.
