The Government Digital Service (GDS) has signed a new contract with Deloitte for the company to work on mobile apps for digital identity checks.
The £42 million agreement for a mobile application delivery partner went into effect late last month and will run until July 2026.
It effectively builds on Deloitte’s role under a 2022 contract to provide professional services for the digital identity unit in GDS.
The award notice for the new contract states that the company will support and improve the existing GOV.UK ID Check mobile app, and deliver a new GOV.UK app for the Digital Identity Programme.
