Smart sensors and data analytics to ensure proactive property maintenance and healthier environments for housing association's residents
The Guinness Partnership has entered into an agreement with environmental monitoring technology provider Aico. Under the terms of the agreement, the Aico HomeLINK environmental monitoring system will be installed in homes operated by Partnership in the South West of England to monitor factors such as temperature, humidity, and carbon dioxide levels.
The Guinness Partnership, which was founded in 1890, provides social housing to 10 local autorities across England. In the South West, it works with local authorities in Gloucestershire.
Aico will also work with The Guinness Partnership on a resident's engagement programme to ensure that residents understand how the system works and will improve the living conditions of the residents. A series of workshops and education sessions will be run by both the technology provider and the housing association.
