The Defence Science and Technology Laboratory (Dstl) has agreed on a three-year, £90 million contract with Sopra Steria for network and hosting services.

According to the contract award notice, the agreement will come into force at the beginning of next month and covers operational and technical management services.

The new contract strengthens the relationship between Dstl and Sopra Steria, coming two years after £66 million agreement for ICT services related to the organisation’s transition of functions back in-house from an outsourced service.

Its release also comes a couple of days after news of a contract between the agency and Capgemini for digital strategy support.

Dstl is an agency under the Ministry of Defence that provides science and technology expertise for the sector.
