The Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra) has signed a contract worth up to £54.5 million with Kainos Software as a digital delivery partner.
The two-year deal has come into operation this week with the possibility to extend for another six month, and involves Kainos developing and supporting services under the Europe and Trade and Future Farming portfolios.
These take in trade services in line with the evolving Europe Trade Policy, imports, exports, data and reporting services, common platforms and centralised WebOps.
The contract notice specifies a handful of subcontractors work with Defra and Kainos, taking in Clarasys, Made Tech, Hippo Digital, BJSS and Redrock Consulting.
