The Data Science Campus has begun to take applications from public sector employees for the latest round of its Data Science and Visualisation Accelerator programme.

The organisation, which is part of the Office for National Statistics (ONS), said the 12-week programme will begin on 2 May with data science and visualisation categories running simultaneously.

It will give participants access to the ONS Learning Hub, enabling them to complete courses that support their work on projects they choose themselves, and to learn new skills, embed these within their organisations and connect with peers.

They will be supported an experienced mentor in data science or data visualisation, working remotely, and be able to experiment with different techniques and open source software.

The programme was launched in 2021.
