Central London Community Healthcare NHS Trust (CLCH) has extended its contract with Capita for corporate services for three years in a deal worth £27.1 million.

It takes in IT, business intelligence, performance analytics, procurement, finance, and estates and facilities management.

Capita said that under the extension it will contribute to CLCH’s broader digital transformation programme in areas such as providing healthcare professionals with new devices.

Over the past year it supported CLCH’s organisation of England’s first Covid-19 testing drive-through facility in a community setting

Andy Start, CEO Capita Government Services, said: “We are delighted to be extending our contract with Central London Community Healthcare NHS Trust and look forward to driving improvements that will enable frontline health professionals to focus on the care they provide to patients.”

CLCH is the largest community healthcare organisation in London, covering the boroughs of Barnet, Hammersmith and Fulham, Kensington and Chelsea, Westminster, Merton, Wandsworth and Harrow – along with the county of Hertfordshire. It includes 3,000 health professionals and provides services to more than two million people.
