The Cabinet Office has awarded Ernst & Young a five-year, £18.2 million contract for the provision of a new Civil Service Jobs Platform.

It comes as the Government People Group – the cross-government body that supports skills, leadership and performance of the Civil Service workforce – is aiming to replace the current platform and align with strategies in areas such as diversity and inclusion.

The contract award notice states: “We want the next generation of Civil Service Jobs to resolve some of our biggest recruitment challenges: improving time to hire, standardising much of our recruitment processes, and giving our users a more intuitive user experience.”

The platform is the principal digital recruitment channel for the Government Recruitment Service and organisations that subscribe to the Civil Service Jobs process.
