The Crown Commercial Service (CCS) has launched the new version of its Digital Outcomes and Specialists procurement framework.
The fifth iteration of the framework – available through the Digital Marketplace for bespoke digital solutions and services – is said to be close to the previous version and comes following the annual re-tendering exercise.
It has 3,340 suppliers, 94% of which are SMEs.
CCS said a third of the spend through previous iterations, amounting to over £2.5 billion, has gone to smaller companies.
Patrick Nolan, technology director at CCS, said: “Our Digital Outcomes and Specialists agreement continues to facilitate our customers’ digital transformation while also creating opportunities for suppliers of all sizes. By simplifying the application process as much as possible we are reducing the barriers that SMEs can face when seeking to supply to the public sector.”
