The Crown Commercial Service (CCS) has flagged up that it wants to create a back office software procurement agreement.
It has published a prior information notice indicating that the framework could be worth up to £400 million over two years, and that it is aiming for it to go live in May of next year.
The notice says the deal would cover systems for enterprise resource planning, human capital management, procurement and supply chain, information management and reporting.
The framework would be recommended as the route to market for central government and be open to the rest of the public sector.
CCS is planning to run some market engagement sessions this month, which it said will determine the lot structure of the arrangement, and has indicated it wants to talk to public sector organisations about the requirements.
It has also published two guidance notices indicating that it wishes to create frameworks for back office business and technology solutions, and support and maintenance for relevant software-as-a-service.
