The Crown Commercial Service (CCS) has decided to extend G-Cloud 12 for 12 months, so it will now run until 27 September 2022.

It said this will give it time to make improvements to the public sector procurement framework for cloud computing services, including accessibility, search functionality, and the presentation of the Digital Marketplace platform, before the next iteration of the agreement is delivered.

CCS is consulting with suppliers and customers over the planned changes and said it expcts the changes to increase opportunities for suppliers.

It also plans to publish updated information regarding G-Cloud 13 in the near future via the Digital Marketplace and the Upcoming Deals page.

It added that the extension to G-Cloud 12 does not give suppliers the right to increase pricing or materially change services.
