The Crown Commercial Service (CCS) has doubled the number of suppliers for the version of its Digital Capability for Health procurement framework.
It has published a contract award notice for the framework indicating that 22 companies are on the list, up from 11 on the first iteration, which was launched in early 2021.
The companies on the new version – all under a single lot – are Accenture, Aire Logic, Atos IT Services, Birlasoft (UK), BJSS, Burendo, Capgmemini, Caution Your Blast, Cognizant Worldwide, Ernst & Young, Hippo Digital, IBM UK, Informed Solutions, Kainos Software, Mastek (UK), Netcompany, Opencast Software Europe, Pricewaterhousecoopers, CACI, Scott Logic, Softwire Technology and Thoughtworks.
The framework provides a procurement channel for application development and management services for public health and social care programme, open to all public sector bodies.
It came into effect last month to run for three years with a projected value of £1.2 billion.
The earlier tender document outlined five service provisions within the lot: DevOps, digital definition services, build and transition services, end-to-end development services and data management services. It also emphasised the role of an agile approach to developing digital solutions.
The first version was originally due to expire this month but has was extended for six months until mid July.
