Critical domain services
Two companies, Nominet and Central Nic, have won places on lot 1d for critical domain services, which provide access to domain registry services to operation and manage nationally critical public sector domains.
This includes the provision and operation of a technical infrastructure for an unnamed online platform said to be of national importance.
CCS has indicated that awards for the remaining lots are due to be made by the middle of next month.
