The Department for Business and Trade (DBT) has signed consultancy Capgemini to support its digital, data and technology (DDaT) team working on its trade and regulatory services portfolio.
They have agreed on a two-year contract that began at the end of last month is valued at between £4 million and £6 million.
The award notice says it will address capacity and capability gaps within the portfolio, with the company providing data and product specialists to deliver and enhance relevant services. This will cover a range of short and long term projects.
It is the second significant contract for digital services to DBT to become public this month, following the earlier publication of the notice for a £6.8 million award to Made Tech to work on the department’s Data Hub.
