Caerphilly County Borough Council has begun to consolidate systems on the GOSS Digital Platform.

It is beginning to integrate systems, such as content management, forms, case management and customer relationship management into one solution. This marks a significant step in its digital transformation and towards achieving its financial and service delivery goals.

The council is planning to use the platform in six key areas, including website content management. It is developing a new corporate website as a central point for all customer interactions, replacing a third party system, and is aiming to provide a more intuitive, accessible experience for users.

It is also aiming to provide a new suite of online forms, adopt a new interface for customer relationship management, provide support to mobile workers, and upgrade its case management.

The platform will also enable real time data exchange between the council’s systems for a more connected service infrastructure.

GOSS said the platform also provide dual language capabilities that will ensure compliance with Welsh language standards.
