The London Borough of Bromley is to deploy Arcus Global cloud software to manage its planning, building control and land charges.

It has set up a four-year agreement with optional extensions with the company valued at £325,000 to implement applications from the low code Arcus Built Environment platform.

They will include case management, functions for submitting building control applications online with attached documents, and mobile apps for staff to access and upload casework information when away from the office.

Cllr Yvonne Bear, executive councillor for renewal, recreation and housing at Bromley, said: , “The new Arcus Global system will support a better, more efficient way of working, with the better integration of our systems also helping us to be much more responsive.

“This upgrade will also mean that residents will be able to apply for building control approval online and search for planning applications more easily as well.”
