Birmingham City Council has published a donation form for personal protective equipment (PPE) for responders to the coronavirus crisis on its website.

It comes as one of a group of initiatives from local authorities related to the pandemic and using Jadu’s XFP Form Builder.

The company has made these available for wider sharing.

The Birmingham call for PPE donations is aimed at supporting NHS and care workers and volunteers in the city. It asks for products such as disposable aprons, latex or Nitrell gloves, face masks, hand sanitiser, eye protection and overshoes.

It has been created with an XFP form that Jadu has published as one of those within a Covid-19 Community ToolBox.

Other local authorities contributing to the resource include:

  • Canterbury City Council, which has posted forms for volunteers, donations to an appeal and to provide information on a not-for-profit organisation offering support;

  • Stoke-on-Trent City Council, for urgent business grant payments;

  • City of York Council for business grants;

  • and Broxbourne Council, which has provided forms developed by Sopra Steria for business grants and community assistance.

Jadu is also inviting ideas through a Tricider board.
